VP Human Resources – Restaurant Group
$175,000 - $200,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity:
The VP Human Resources is the cultural leader of our people and the keeper of our culture. They will contribute to the evolution of the company vision and own the development and implementation of HR goals, culture, & strategy. They will oversee hiring, payroll, benefits, and employee relations, as well as plan, lead, and enforce recruitment, management, and employee relations policies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee the HR Department - drive human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations
- Develop human resources operations financial strategies by forecasting, and anticipating business needs, watching trends, and conducting periodic surveys
- Work effectively and collaboratively with Leadership Team, as well as motivate team members to embrace and reinforce the company culture
- Use interpersonal skills to effectively motivate, inspire, and develop employees, from team to leadership level
- Support in the development and implementation of programs that maximize employee personal development and engagement
· Create and deliver engaging presentations to both high level and ground level teams
- Responsible for setting the tone in creating an employment brand and candidate experience that reflects the company's values and culture to ensure seamless assimilation into the organization
- Light travel may be required
What We Are Looking For:
- At least 10 years of experience, in progressive HR management positions, in the restaurant, retail or hospitality industry REQUIRED
- SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management, highly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of HRMS (Human Resource Management System) and/or HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to identify, analyze, and resolve all HR-related issues
- Knowledge of local and federal employment laws and regulations
- Extensive knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Local candidates preferred
