Job Summary

HCF seeks a highly organized and skilled individual to fill the role of Communications Manager. Under the direction of the Director of Communications, the individual hired for this role carries out essential functions and supports the implementation of strategic planning, execution, and measurement of marketing and communications activities for the foundation.

This includes but is not limited to developing materials and fostering partnerships to drive engagement that supports the foundation’s fundraising goals and objectives. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the visibility and impact of Huntsman Cancer Institute. They will assist in planning and executing outreach strategies, creating dynamic supporting content in a variety of forms and channels, and ensuring brand clarity and consistency across the foundation. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to execute these tasks, adept analytical skills to evaluate their efforts, and an understanding of emerging technology that can advance their work. Currently, Huntsman Cancer Foundation has a hybrid work policy. This is subject to change.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of assignment or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four to six years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of assigned department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department.

Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.
