As the SVP, Public Relations, you will be responsible for leading RH's Public Relations and external communications and for the development and implementation of comprehensive PR strategies, including but not limited to media relations, events and advertising.
Your Responsibilities - Live and breathe our Vision, Values & Beliefs
- Lead RH's media relations, including the execution of a dynamic earned- and paid-media strategy for all relevant RH brands
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key national and international media
- Develop compelling PR assets: press releases, pitches, media previews, fact sheets, briefings, statements, Q&As, etc.
- Support PR story development and pitch ideation by working cross-functionally with Product Development leaders/merchants and Copy team to identify key seasonal collections, artisans and products
- Tracking the results of earned editorial placements, dissemination of images and product press samples; compile ad-value reports
- Lead oversight of RH's global PR agencies
- Lead strategy for celebrity and influencer partnerships to support RH's key initiatives and brand elevation
- Support press strategy and partnership logistics, serving as a liaison for talent management and PR teams and RH internal partners
- Oversee master press and influencer lists
- Maintain press library and media editorial calendars
- Lead event management and gallery-opening communications strategy: work with cross-functional partners to create proactive press assets; oversee local PR agency efforts; oversee event coverage, including press release distribution, coverage tracking and reporting
- Negotiate charitable partnerships and influential host committee lists, support celebrity and influencer attendance negotiations
- Spearhead event vendor and guest list management, timelines and recaps
- Track and input costs for all press event and press-trip budgets
- Advise Leadership regarding RH marketing strategy, including relevant media-brand demographics, advertising proposals, and deadlines
Our Requirements - 15 + years of work experience in public relations and media/client facing events; marketing experience within the luxury vertical is required
- Experience supporting Senior Leadership and providing strategic guidance
- Strong knowledge of competitive landscape, specifically as it pertains to public relations, marketing strategy and social media
- Demonstrated experience partnering with and overseeing international public relation agencies
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic, and optimistic approach as a collaborative team player.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in Communications and/or other relevant field
Physical Requirements - Flexibility to travel internationally as needed and to work outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends
