Job description
Are you a reliable and organized individual who is passionate about enhancing the well-being and welfare of others? We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of home medical equipment to our customers, while contributing to the seamless distribution of home medical equipment to patients in need.

Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm with a paid on-call rotation approximately every 8 to 10 weeks.
As a Service Technician, you will:
- Deliver home medical equipment (manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.), and instruct customers on its safe use
- Assess and repair home medical equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- Remain current with applicable accreditation, payer, state, and federal regulatory authorities that oversee the home medical equipment industry
- Participate in the call rotation to provide emergency 24 hour service to customers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical and/or technical experience a plus
- Auto mechanic experience a plus
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication skills to include all communication types
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and drive up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to bend and squat up to 6 hours per day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and/or push up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Potential exposure to dust and infectious diseases
- Potential for seasonal exposure to extreme cold and heat
