Job description
We are seeking a Social Media Project Coordinator to join an advertising agency team, focusing on a client in the tech space. This is a temporary-to-permanent position based in Los Angeles, offering a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Manage social media initiatives and creator content for our client in the tech industry, with a specific focus on social activations.
- While specific experience with influencer marketing is not required, a keen interest in social activations and emerging trends in the social media landscape is preferred.
- Compile and maintain burn reports to track project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
- Facilitate asset tracking and organization, maintaining a repository of digital assets for use in social media campaigns and content creation.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of social media projects, from concept to delivery.
- Assist in coordinating project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in project coordination or related roles, preferably within an advertising agency or marketing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools, with a demonstrated understanding of social media best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in asset tracking and reporting.
- Enthusiasm for the tech industry and social media marketing, with a desire to learn and grow in the role.
