Job description

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established accounting CPA firm, is currently seeking a talented Senior Tax Associate with a CPA certification. This company prides itself on providing high-quality tax services and personalized solutions to their clients.

As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique tax needs and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Perform tax research and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients
• Assist clients with tax audits and represent them before tax authorities
• Provide guidance and support to junior tax team members
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification is required
• At least 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax-related role
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in tax and accounting software
