Department of Defense System Administrator
Task Description:
- Provide all administration and execution tasks required to keep the application operational by installing monthly patches on the Vision Center of Excellence and Joint Hearing Loss and Auditory System Injury Registry (JHASIR) Webservers and Application Servers.
- Perform required system updates and data refreshes within the MIP data sources and Agile Core Services Data Access Layer (ACS DAL) VA connections (CAPER, SIDR, TMDS, TED-I, TED-NI) IA tasks, including support in resolving ACAS/STIG findings on the VCE Web and Application Servers for both DVEIVR and JHASIR.
- Interface with the License and Maintenance Manager to support their inventory and tracking to ensure an accurate account of necessary server and/or application licensing and provide inputs to license procurement actions.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- Prior Federal Government Experience
- Federal Security Clearance
- Experience with DoD Systems
- Experience with SQL Server
- Experience with AWS Redshift
- Experience with Windows / Linux
- Must have experience with STIG, ACAS (scans), and Patching
