We have a Great kitchen Assistant Position available paying  $14/hr or $15/hr if Serve Safe certified.

Job Description:

• Provide food services to the youth within a secure facility.
• Prepare Meals along with providing kitchen assistance
• Provide cooking support as needed
• Willing to transport food within around the secure facilities if needed
• 30 minute lunch a day, 1 meal for shift. (2) 15 minute breaks

• DSS Form-  saved in documents
• Sexual Predator Background
• Basic background run via our state Free website- 
• National 7 year background check (no SLED)
• Reliable transportation to arrive, vehicles can be searched or park across street and walk in

The hourly rate of pay for these staff will be $14.00per hour.

Servsafe certification = $15.00 –  specifically , Food Handlers Certificate or a Food Protection Managers Certificate

The positions are temporary to permanent positions – Our goal is to identify staff that want to make this position their career. Our hope is that after working here for some time, they will apply and be considered for the full time position

All candidates working as food service specialists will be required to perform the duties of cooking, prepping, cleaning, and serving.

DHEC mandates that false nails and colored nail polish cannot be worn in a food service setting and our Facility is 100% smoke free. There are no designated smoking areas and having cigarettes, lighters, matches or anything related to smoking in a vehicle or on them will result in disciplinary action.
