Appliance Field Technician
Summary:
At BrandsMart USA we provide competitive pay and ongoing training in a collaborative, supportive, and team-orientated setting. In the Appliance Service Technician role, you will enjoy working independently as a representative of a leading retailer and in-home service provider.
For the Field Technician, we provide the following:
· Service van
· Specialized tools
· Uniforms

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ability to drive company owned cargo vehicle
· Follow the truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean organized truck
· Maintain truck inventory within the company guidelines
· Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of tools and test equipment
· Triage and diagnose repair problems
· Use laptop or tablet in order to complete work orders, including part ordering process, communication via email, and service center job assignments
· Complete all technician training within required timeline
· Provide timely, knowledgeable, courteous, and quality repairs
· Able to lift up to 100lbs
· Work with minimal supervision
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:
· At least 2 years’ experience preferred, but will train candidate at Service Center for those without field experience
· High school diploma or equivalency required
· Refrigeration, EPA, or HVAC Certification or Appliance Repair Certification
· Valid Driver’s License
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast and quality results
· Demonstrate a sense of urgency
· Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
· Provide direction to a Technical Helper, as applicable
