Job Description

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Product Manager within our Product team at Thought Industries. This role will work on a team that is laser-focused on resolving product gaps that pose major blockers to our customers’ key business goals and ensuring that our customers realize maximum value from our product. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering and refining customer requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and bridging the gap between customer needs and product enhancements. 

This role requires superb communication skills. Communication is central to every aspect of this role, including clear communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals, cross-functional communication to facilitate collaboration, communicating with customers to gather insights and understand their needs, and clear and concise documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Requirements and Strategy : Work closely with internal teams and customers to gather, refine, and prioritize product requirements. Help design and solve hard problems in ways our customers love, yet aligned with our company’s business objectives and product strategy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Act as a vital link between customer requirements and product improvements, collaborating daily with engineering and QA teams throughout the development process.
• Documentation : Create comprehensive support and training documents for internal and external users to facilitate understanding and efficient issue resolution.
• Customer Insights : Develop innovative methods to evaluate customer reactions after feature releases, helping us continuously enhance our product offerings and development processes.
• Metrics for Success:
  • Impact Customer Retention: Implement strategies and features that bring customers value and positively influence customer retention metrics.
  • Decrease Time to Resolution: Implement process and workflow optimizations to reduce the time it takes to resolve customer issues.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years previous experience in SaaS product management. Additional experience in customer support or a related role showcasing a deep understanding of software technology and cloud computing is preferred. This role requires independent investigation and problem solving with a complex software product.
• Proven experience working with enterprise clients with complex use cases.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and customers.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, accountable, and able to drive process improvement within cross-functional teams.
