Privvy Modern Health, a Nutritional IV Infusion & Injection Therapy Medical Spa, is looking for a motivated,  Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to staff our clinic location in Chico. We are located inside the Chico Marketplace at 1950 E 20th St E523.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

RN's must have proficiency in starting IV's. Patient load per day: 5-15. The ideal candidate is positive, outgoing, a great multitasker and able to make their patients feel at ease with education and TLC. Clinic hours are Monday - Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

Part-Time Requirements: 1-2 shifts a week, and occasional weekend days. 

Responsibilities

• Independent review of patient history to determine appropriateness of IV therapy.
• Consult and coordinate with PRIVVY Modern Health MD on staff and/or standing orders to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and administer patient IV/injection therapy and medication plans.
• Return patient phone calls, answer questions and triage patient concerns by phone.
• Instruct individuals on topics such as health education and general preventative health measures such as diet and exercise.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and health records utilizing EMR system.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
• Being able to function in the heat of emergency and act according to protocol.
• Work with Practice Coordinator to maintain inventory and anticipate supply needs; workroom restocking and cleaning.
• Keep the clinic in compliance with Privvy Modern Health inspections before and after each shift.
• Understand great customer service and patient care.
• Maintain a safe, secure and clean environment for customers.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned by management staff, including reception and cashier duties on occasion.

Please Note: Three to Five shifts of Training will be conducted.

Job Summary: The Nurse position will be overseeing patient-care operations.

• Job Class and Reports To: The Nurse position will be a part- time, non-exempt position that reports to the Nurse Manager at Privvy Modern Health.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of IV Clinic procedures
• Proficient patient charting system, scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, or related software.
• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skill

Education and Experience:

• Valid Nurse License with no sanctions
• BSN or diploma in nursing
• Two years of related experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
