Job description
Responsible for producibility and design for manufacturing support for new and revised designs/MEO’s, review supplier tooling and manufacturing build plans and support all liaison efforts during build fabrication at selected suppliers. Identify and mitigate issues and risks associated with successful design, tooling, and manufacture of the airframe. Education: A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering; Materials, Mechanical, Aerospace or equivalent is preferred Experience: The ideal candidate shall have a working knowledge of the design and development of airframe components (particularly composites) of CH-53K. Proficiency in CATIA V5 system and the MES Solumina planning system a plus. Knowledge of (GD&T) is desired, but not mandatory. *** Domestic travel is expected and required to West Virginia, PA. and Salt lake City, UTAH. ***
