Description: Must have architecture/interior design experience
Chicago interior architectural design firm is seeking an experienced interior designer with strong proficiency in conceptual design, space planning, design development, material selection, and construction documentation.
- Design creative and innovative interior environments that support our client needs.
- Collaborate in a team environment to development and enhance design solutions.
- Actively participate in client presentations.
- Select materials, furniture, and equipment.
- Collaborate with architects as well as interior designers.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors.
- Lead, teach, mentor, develop and inspire design staff.
- Participate in producing construction documents and construction administration.
- Research and recommend products and systems that support the overall design intent.
Skills & Qualifications: See bold for Must Haves/Disqualifiers - Bachelor or Master degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Graphic design, web design, UX/UI backgrounds are NOT applicable- MUST have architecture experience
- Must be accredited
- 6+ years of experience
- This does NOT include internship experience or experience outside of US standard
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Revit proficiency highly preferred
- Experience with corporate workplace projects
- Purely residential backgrounds will not be a fit
- Positive, outgoing, energetic, and fun team player
- MUST HAVE corporate interiors/workplace experience
- MUST BE LOCAL- this is an in office role
- Must have valid driver's license and SSC
