Role Description
The AF Solutions Division within Boston Scientific was designed to support and treat patients with the most common heart arrhythmia – atrial fibrillation . The goal of the AF Solutions Sales Trainer is to support the growth of a best-in-market AF Solutions field force through a robust training program. The trainer in this role will be responsible for the development and execution of a newly integrated training program that involves existing market-leading technologies, such as Watchman , Access Solutions and Rhythmia , in addition to anticipated future single-shot ablation technologies.
Any of the following backgrounds are desired:
- Extensive Transseptal and/or imaging experience
- LAAC implant experience
- Education experience within the medical device industry
- Research background for clinical trial/article communications
Key Responsibilities
- Development and execution of sales training program to include:
- Virtual Content
- Classroom Content
- Field Training
- New Technology Launches
- In-person and virtual sales training delivery.
- Continuous evaluation and improvement of training program by assessing:
- Trainee performance
- Training Program Feedback
- Daily collaboration with several other business units to include:
- Field Sales
- Marketing
- Medical Education
- R&D
Job Requirements:
- Fully remote based, but travel to Maple Grove HQ and training sites required
- Approximately 40% overnight travel, with multiple consecutive days for classroom training
- 5+ years of LAAC, Structural Heart, EP and/or lab experience with technical/clinical proficiency
- Able to facilitate face to face and virtual classrooms
- Ability to execute on multiple project simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize projects based on business need
- Good time management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter with a clear focus on sales training development
- Work collaboratively within the team and with other business functions
- Continuous improvement mindset; ability to identify existing gaps/needs for sales training improvement
- Ability to tailor training materials to specific audience
- Comfortable learning new/unfamiliar technology
- Evaluate and implement various training methods and strategies
- Manage digital content and access portals in collaboration with technical experts.
- Basic competency on Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
