Job description

Job Summary:
As the Senior Finance Manager, you will collaborate closely with departmental and finance leadership to devise and implement comprehensive business plans, strategies, and policies aimed at enhancing company profitability. Your role will involve conducting in-depth financial analysis, strategic planning, forecasting, capital budgeting, and decision support.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support for departmental functions, including the development of long-term financial plans, annual operating budgets, and capital project analyses.
- Foster relationships with key business units to facilitate the planning process, address planning challenges, and analyze business requirements effectively.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial projections, thereby supporting overall cash flow management.
- Evaluate new business proposals, identify potential issues, risks, and opportunities, and articulate findings and recommendations for project advancement.
- Perform financial due diligence and communicate the implications of findings and recommendations to drive project success.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and profit maximization, offering actionable insights to enhance current processes and provide valuable information to decision-makers.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports and analyses to support informed decision-making and drive business performance.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and trend analysis to identify risk areas and emerging trends, and develop recommendations for senior management.
- Prepare concise presentations for senior management, summarizing performance targets and progress across individual business units effectively.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in financial and accounting theory, as well as financial and statistical modeling techniques.
- Strong managerial, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience with Adaptive software and Snowflake data cloud preferred.
- Ability to leverage financial expertise to address business challenges and improve decision-making.

Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in analytics, people development, project management, and change management.
