Job description
Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Background/Need
The Tactical Networks Group specializes in advanced network and communications systems development, with a focus on rapid prototyping of waveforms and algorithms to support radical next generation tactical mobile, military airborne communications systems.
Major Responsibilities:
The Tactical Networks Group is seeking to hire an FPGA/ASIC verification engineer that will participate in the verification of wireless communications systems. The group is developing novel new architectures and waveforms and is looking to add to the team that will prototype and field test the technologies. This individual will be a key member of the hardware team, working closely with the designers to develop the verification environment, test plans and functionality of the FPGA and ASIC Designs.
Must Have:
1. Hardware architecture design and verification.
2. Software Development in System Verilog using UVM.
3. VHDL/Verilog verification expertise.
4. ASIC/FPGA verification expertise.
5. Xilinx UltraScale/Ultrascale+ experience.
6. Vivado/Modelsim workflow development experience.
7. Signal processing digital circuit design.
8. Ability to write unit-level and system-level verification test cases.
9. Working with Xilinx RFSoC.
Nice to Have:
1. C and/or other programming experience.
2. Signal processing experience.
3. Matlab experience.
Education & Experience: Bachelor 's plus 15+ Years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
