Job Description
As an ITS Program Manager specializing in Infrastructure (Network) within the airline industry, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing critical technology initiatives related to network infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless functioning of airline operations. Let's delve into the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Responsibilities:
Strategic Program Management:
Lead and manage high-complexity, high-visibility strategic initiatives related to network infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
Network Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of network services.
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with network equipment vendors and service providers.
Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network resources.
Implement best practices for network management.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Identify risks related to network infrastructure projects.
Develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
Budget Management:
Forecast and manage program budgets allocated to network infrastructure.
Track expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and senior management.
Provide regular updates on project status.
Qualifications:
Education: A relevant degree such as Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.

PMP (Project Management Professional)
