Job description

Required Qualifications:

* Ph.D., AuD., or equivalent from an accredited institution in audiology, hearing and speech science, or closely related field
* College or University-level teaching experience in-person, online, or both
* Possession of, or obtaining within 12-month of hire, the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holding good standing for the duration of appointment.
* Possession of, or obtaining within 12-month of hire, the California licensure in Audiology and holding good standing for the duration of appointment.
* Evidence of productive research in the field related to Audiology

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrate a commitment and ability to teach, mentor and work with a diverse faculty environment
* Evidence of effective engagement OR potential to engage with a diverse student body
* Experience creating a student-centered learning environment
* Experience adopting inclusive approaches to mentoring and teaching
* Experience or potential to develop courses/curriculum for AuD. program
* Experience with platforms for instructional technology
* Experience with teaching doctoral level students in the fields of Audiology and/or Speech-Language Pathology
* Strong preference will be given for the individuals with evidence of recent clinical or research experience with Industrial audiology and/or Occupational hearing conservation, vestibular assessment, Tinnitus assessment/management or (C)APD.
* Strong preference will be given for the individuals with possession of, or immediate eligibility to attain and hold a hearing-aid dispensing license in California
* Evidence for potential to conduct high quality of scholarly work
* Supervisory experience of interns, clinical fellows, other clinical training
