Job Description:
We are searching for a SOC analysts and Fireeye administrator. We need someone with real world experience supporting and managing a Fireeye HX EDR environment. The candidate must be sharp, hard working, autonomous and creative.

The Security Operation Center (SOC) works to monitor, detect and respond to cyber-attack. Cutting edge Security technologies and strategies are leveraged to address the ever changing threat landscape. The SOC uses automated and manual processes to detect security incidents and threats globally. SOC members must be knowledgeable and creative and be able to handle pressure when responding to an attack. The SOC analyst will ensure security events are handled rapidly and efficiently and according to process. The analyst will work to devise innovative ways to detect and respond to threats.

BS in Computer science in Cyber Security good. MS in cyber security better. Certifications from SANS or other reputable Security organization preferred. The priority is getting a Fireeye HX admin. Candidate must have experience administering Fireeye HX, not just using it. also looking for general cyber security expertise, especially around threat detection, and threat hunting. They use colors to describe different areas of cyber security. Blue is defense, Red is offense. The expertise we are looking for is a blend of both, purple. To detect hackers you need to understand how a hacker works. Good chance this goes to a permanent position. This is a very niche skillset. The individual must be experienced as they will be dealing with hackers from foreign countries.
