About the Role
Walmart’s Global Security, Aviation, and Investigations organization is looking for a Senior Manager of Risk Intelligence to join the IROCC (Investigative Risk and Operational Compliance Center), the analytics center of excellence for Global Governance. This position supports Walmart’s US and International businesses with enterprise risk management (ERM) reports, threat assessments, situational reports (“sitreps”), and similar intelligence products to identify and mitigate risks that could impact critical business operations, safety, and security.
This role works quickly to interpret available data through the lenses of their experiences, professional training, and Walmart’s risk intelligence framework to deliver timely and relevant risk assessments. They perform proactive and post-event evaluation of geopolitical, criminal, and societal drivers of crisis events to inform our risk mitigation strategy.
You’ll make an impact by:
Produce compelling written assessments and clear oral briefings: Generate clear, cohesive, and skillful deliverables including threat assessments, situation reports, regulatory risk assessments, and international market security analyses.
Navigate and balance: Develop customer focused solutions that are tailored to different audiences and leadership levels.
Adapt quickly and resourcefully: Manage competing demands and shifting priorities; effectively support others to meet challenges.
Leverage tools & channels: Support programs and initiatives that improve adaptability and continuous learning within the team and to business partners.

You have previous experience with security risk intelligence in either the public or private sector
You have a track record of working well with cross-functional teams
You understand complex risk assessment processes and best practices
You have expertise on geopolitical issues
You have fluency in a second language
You have experience using open-source data
You have prior experience working with structured data analysis techniques, like SQL
You have a professional understanding of risk detection and mitigation tactics
You are comfortable with critical decision making in uncertain situations
