**Brief company background**

Since 2010, Advantage Property Management Services (APMS) has been advocating for Landlords in the Tri-Valley. We manage all types of residential properties, from small condos to large apartment buildings. We are truly full-service; you don’t have to lift a finger.

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

The Assistant Property Manager (APM) is responsible for supporting the Property Management

team to onboard new clients, manage the resident experience, and ensure processes are

completed properly. This role requires a broad skill set to complete all administrative tasks that

can be completed remotely; if it can be done from a computer, you’ll be doing it.

The APM’s schedule is M-F 8am – 6pm Pacific Time.

**RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES**

● Deliver excellent customer service to customers via phone, email, and text

● Manage the move-in/move-out process

● Create Comparable Market Analysis (CMA) reports

● Draft new Leases and renew existing Leases

● Manage resident and owner insurance policies

● Resident management—help with maintenance concerns, enforce lease terms and

resolve resident complaints

● Perform regular audits to ensure policies are being adhered to

● Manage the Property Manager’s calendar

● Pre-draft emails on behalf of the Property Manager

● General office management tasks, including filing, organizing, ordering office supplies,

etc.

● Execute all other duties assigned by the Property Managers or Company Owners

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

● 2+ years experience working from home; a quiet home office environment (more details

below)

● 5+ years of administrative and customer service experience

● Fluent, verbal and written

● Excellent communication skills

● Type 40+ WPM

● Exceptionally detail-oriented with superior organizational skills

● Well-versed in technology, including Microsoft Word, GSuite apps (Gmail, Google Sheets,

Slides, and Google Docs)

● Self-motivated and capable of working independently with very little management

oversight

● Adept problem solver

**REQUIRED HOME OFFICE RESOURCES**

This is a work-from-home position. To efficiently complete your work, you will need to provide

and maintain the following:

● Quiet, dedicated home office

● Newer (less than 3 years old) computer with at least an Intel Core i7 processor, 12 GB

RAM, and a licensed version of Windows 10

● Dual monitors

● High-speed internet connection with at least 30mbps+ download and 10mbps+ upload

speed

● Noise-canceling headset with a microphone to use when making/receiving calls.

● Licensed software necessary to perform your job duties.
