Responsibilities:

 

Patient-Centered Care: Provide patient-focused prosthetic and orthotic care, tailored to individual needs, with a focus on enhancing quality of life.

 

Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the best prosthetic and orthotic solutions for patients, considering their unique goals and requirements.

 

Custom Device Fabrication: Design, fabricate, and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices using the latest technology and techniques, ensuring optimal functionality and comfort.

 

Patient Education: Offer guidance and training to patients, empowering them to use and maintain their prosthetic and orthotic devices effectively.

 

Collaborative Care: Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive, holistic care to patients.

 

Continual Follow-up: Monitor patients' progress, make necessary adjustments, and ensure that their prosthetic and orthotic devices continue to meet their changing needs.

 

Qualifications:

 

Certification as a Certified Prosthetist or Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist.

Licensed or license eligible in the state of Florida.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Adherence to ethical and professional standards in healthcare.
