Our Client Navigating the intricate and costly landscape of the employee benefits marketplace can be overwhelming. Employers shouldn't tackle this challenge solo; they require a dedicated partner by their side. Our client is that strategic ally, well-versed in all aspects of group benefits. As a trusted fiduciary, they serve as advocates for both employers and their valued employees.
The Position The Consultant is responsible for managing client accounts, identifying, and executing benefit strategies, and ensuring quality delivery of services to the client. This individual is also responsible for client retention.
The Responsibilities - Oversee strategy and solution identification, presentation, and implementation.
- Act as the day-to-day point of contact for all assigned clients to ensure the delivery of quality services.
- Manage the tactical aspects of client engagements for large and complex clients.
- Ensure both parties meet their obligations to deliver the objectives required in the contract.
- Oversee client onboarding and supplier implementation.
- Prepare and present client-facing documents, as needed.
- Execute defined benefit strategies.
- Ensure client reporting is completed in a timely manner and provides the type and level of information needed for quality decision-making.
- Expand benefit knowledge and skills by participating in thought leadership and/or deepening specialized knowledge about topics including, but not limited to, healthcare, benefit plans, ERISA, benefit administration platforms, private insurance exchanges, etc.
The Requirements - Prior experience with group benefit plans, ERISA, and/or healthcare is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be a driven, self-starter.
- A service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to meet deadlines, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
The Location - Hybrid work arrangements are available, but some onsite office work is required.
