Office Administrator - Warranty

Job description
Job Duties:
- Packaging and shipping warranty parts back to the manufacturer.
- Assist technicians with pre-authorizations and other various warranty administrative related duties.
- Maintain and clean and safe work environment by organizing warranty parts.
- Proofread repair orders for spelling and grammatical errors as well as complete repair content prior to claim submission.
- Communicate with manufacturer via phone and email regarding repair issues.
- Take pictures of issues on the trailers to submit to manufacturers.
- Assist with various administrative duties including filing.
- Process warranty related billings and collections.
- Challenge manufacturer warranty disclaimers.
- Coordinate with service to follow warranty procedures.
- Follow through with tasks to completion.
Qualifications:
- Basic administrative and computer skills.
- Proficiency in technical and mechanical knowledge.
- Detail and results oriented.
- Highly organized.
- Accurate and self-motivated.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, which includes testing for marijuana.
Physical & Mental Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer. Use basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, telephone and computer. Occasionally will need to climb ladders to the trailer roofs and crawl under trailers to take pictures to send to the manufacturers.
Environmental & Working Conditions: Indoor office environment. Occasionally will be required to work outside or in the repair shop for trailer inspections and photo taking.
