Job description

Job Duties:

  1. Packaging and shipping warranty parts back to the manufacturer.
  2. Assist technicians with pre-authorizations and other various warranty administrative related duties.
  3. Maintain and clean and safe work environment by organizing warranty parts.
  4. Proofread repair orders for spelling and grammatical errors as well as complete repair content prior to claim submission.
  5. Communicate with manufacturer via phone and email regarding repair issues.
  6. Take pictures of issues on the trailers to submit to manufacturers.
  7. Assist with various administrative duties including filing.
  8. Process warranty related billings and collections.
  9. Challenge manufacturer warranty disclaimers.
  10. Coordinate with service to follow warranty procedures.
  11. Follow through with tasks to completion.

Qualifications:

  1. Basic administrative and computer skills.
  2. Proficiency in technical and mechanical knowledge.
  3. Detail and results oriented.
  4. Highly organized.
  5. Accurate and self-motivated.
  6. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, which includes testing for marijuana.

Physical & Mental Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer. Use basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, telephone and computer. Occasionally will need to climb ladders to the trailer roofs and crawl under trailers to take pictures to send to the manufacturers.

Environmental & Working Conditions: Indoor office environment. Occasionally will be required to work outside or in the repair shop for trailer inspections and photo taking.
