Job description

Gaia's Garden Cafe is looking for a part-time barista to join our team! Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, punctual, friendly, and reliable. This is a part-time day position with potential for full-time as we head into our busy season! Hourly wage is $12 + tips. We also offer a 50% employee discount + free beverage every shift.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
• Take customer orders
• Serve beverages and prepared food
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Interact with customers regularly and professionally

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience as a barista/cashier
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations - Food handlers permit required
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively in a team setting
• Weekends required
• Must be 18 or older
