Job Description Position Summary: The project management intern will support the digital transformation team in the planning, organization and control of the A320 ramp up projects. He or she will work with cross functional teams to achieve project milestones and support stakeholders. Your Working Environment Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond. Your Challenges - Support project managers in the planning and updating of the project milestones and the adherence to those milestones.
- Support project managers with preparing milestone presentations, organizing deployment of tooling, and creating a detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
- Help act as an agent of change in the planning and deploying phase to ensure mindsets and behaviors lead to a successful project.
- Lead small scope waterfall and agile projects.
- Support project leaders by updating the project KPIs and updating tasks in the dashboard.
- Assist in updating team project data.
- Assist in the monitoring of the performance of projects.
- Help to manage risks and opportunities.
- Collect lessons learnt and maintain project libraries.
- Support in weekly communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Support for coaching, mentoring & training in regards to change management, Lean and AOS standards/tools.
