Job description
This position works with the program leadership for youth workforce development. The Communications Manager plays a key role in advancing youth workforce development in Philadelphia.
This role will be hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 from home.
Responsibilities
Write, edit, and publish content with a focus on producing accessible, engaging, and simple material that is engaging. Ensure content and design is on-brand and search- and social-optimized.
Support recruitment plan to engage youth and young adults in workforce development programming.
Create content for social media, including development of social media toolkits for contracted providers, funders, and key stakeholders.
Coordinate community outreach events in collaboration with program and provider teams.
Manage social advertising campaigns and other promotions; track and share results for continuous improvement to targeting and segments. Promote new content, key pages, and calls-to-action across channels.
Support media relations, including press conferences.
Produce data driven reports on communications and marketing efforts.

The base pay for this position ranges from $62,000 to $75,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
