Salary Range; $70k-$80k
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist serves as the primary Quality representative at Business Unit Operational Reviews, driving continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing various quality tasks. This role entails ensuring compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), managing Quality Monitoring Systems (QMS), conducting non-conformance investigations, and supporting consumer feedback and internal auditing programs.
Responsibilities:
Represent the Business Unit in Weekly and Daily Operational Reviews, addressing quality issues and driving improvements.
Coordinate investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for quality deviations.
Conduct training for business unit team members to enhance knowledge and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Notify production personnel of deviations and non-conformances, and manage consumer complaint investigations.
Support production objectives and contribute to operator competence development.
Maintain and update quality procedures and tools, collaborating with the Facility Quality Manager.
Participate in Continuous Improvement programs and ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
Conduct internal audits and support readiness for internal and external audits.
