A DAY IN THE LIFE!
The sound of trucks moving in and out of the shop signals another busy day for you and your team! You manage the workflow and prioritization of repairs on trucks and trailers in the shop. You lead by example, completing repairs on equipment and assisting your team with complex issues. As a shop supervisor, you wear many different hats – a leader, a mechanic, a problem-solver, and a mentor to your team.

You are seeking an opportunity that allows you to serve your team and work alongside them by completing repairs on our fleet. You are experienced in the successful diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment. Furthermore, you have a proven ability to prioritize workflows that make the most of your team's potential.
YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead your team through the efficient prioritization and assignment of work to be completed.
- Review your team's repair orders to ensure accuracy and identify any areas of opportunity.
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on Peterbilt, Mack, and International tractors.
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment tractor-trailers including flatbeds, RGNs, Single drop, double drop, and conestoga tractor-trailers.
- Diagnose issues with fleet equipment using diagnostic software.
- Utilize the maintenance software to review services due, repair history, and create repair orders.
YOUR SKILLSET
- The ability to manage your and your team's time effectively and prioritize multiple projects in an environment with shifting deadlines.
- The ability to work on a large team and coordinate with multiple different positions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or certification in Diesel Technologies (an equivalent amount of education and experience can be substituted) .
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory position (foreman, manager, supervisor).
- 3+ years of experience as a technician/mechanic on heavy equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year(s) of experience within the transportation industry.
SALARY & SCHEDULE
- $60000 - $80000 per year, decided based on experience.
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday
