Position Description 

As the Integration Market Manager, you will Integrate the national Submarine Industrial Base to cohesively drive sustainment and growth, acting as a diplomatic interface to build trust, and an unbiased convener providing a neutral forum for industry collaboration. Through regionally focused outreach and engagement, this position will gain in-depth understanding of regional dynamics, stakeholders, assets, and gaps to facilitate technology and workforce efforts to ensure full coordination of SIB activities related to the expansion of supplier capacity. Using accepted program management tools and methods, this role creates sustainable offerings to guide the future of regional and community partnerships. Strategic Integration Planning

• Conduct ecosystem mapping: identify the supplier market, relevant demographics, and pertinent stakeholders/interested parties.

• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify integration opportunities. 

• Represent BlueForge at regional outreach events as appropriate.

Partnership Development:

• Identify and establish long term relationships with key suppliers. 

• Identify and establish relationships with key interested parties who directly and indirectly impact supplier success.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Provide internal integration to the BlueForge Alliance (BFA) program teams on key themes, opportunities, challenges, pain points, and gaps with a regional perspective.

• Provide external integration to the regional stakeholders and interested parties to align and coordinate on initiatives to address gaps within the region.

Project Research and Analysis

• Conduct thorough market research to understand stakeholder needs, preferences, and behaviors.

• Analyze data to make informed decisions and adjustments to integration strategies.

• Mitigate risks and troubleshoot challenges that may arise during the integration process.

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, communication, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.

7+ years of relevant experience in economic development or business.

Proven and strong experience in relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective public speaking and negation skills. 

Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects/regions simultaneously and meet tight deadlines simultaneously. 

Proficient in researching a wide range of topics and presenting information clearly and accurately.

Travel monthly on an as needed basis.
