Job description
TITLE : Principal Engineer II
LOCATION : Englewood, CO
JOB SUMMARY: Design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance MicroServices to automate deployment of device configuration in the Network as a Service (NaaS) platform. Identify Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build infrastructure to improve efficiency and resilience of the NaaS platform. Participate in architecture meetings to identify and design future roadmaps. Refine and prioritize feature stories for Sprint. Review code and components developed by peers and help them improve quality of code. Identify fixes for production issues and resolve them. Build monitoring tools for production services. Test and review system designs. Leverage deep knowledge of end-to-end architecture, full stack development, and 2/3 networking concepts to architect, develop, and operate automation platforms. Develop MicroServices using Java and Python. Bring network solutions to market in an Agile environment. Program databases using PostGres, Oracle, or MongoDB. Orchestrate platform clusters and services using Kubernetes. Architect infrastructure to build resilient and efficient platforms on AWS. Build process workflows using StackStorm or Apache Camel frameworks.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or a related field; 12 years of experience: developing Microservices using Java; bringing networking solutions to market in an Agile environment; programming databases using Postgres, Oracle, or MongoDB; 4 years of experience: developing Microservices using Python; orchestrating platform clusters and services using Kubernetes; 3 years of experience architecting infrastructure to build resilient and efficient platforms on AWS; and 2 years of experience building process workflows using StackStorm or Apache Camel frameworks. Hybrid (office and remote) work arrangement is available.

The pay for this position has a salary range of $152,069 to $220,000 . The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
