Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Relations Coordinator is responsible for assisting in marketing and advertising programs, provider relations, community relations, media relations, and service interactions for all service lines within Doctors Hospital of Laredo. This would involve working with Marketing Director on planning, implementing, advertising, and executing hospital events or programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Marketing Relations Coordinator will assist in the design and implementation of programs to build and nurture positive relationships between the market and providers (physician, hospital, ancillary, etc.). Other responsibilities include the following:

1) Support those who direct and implement marketing and business development strategies relating to market.

2) Responsible for coordinating the marketing of health fairs, speaker topics and forums, employee events and other community relations activities.

3)  Assist Director of Marketing with budget forecasts for various programs, fairs, submitting WorkFront project requests, etc.

4)  Promotes hospital services to community groups.

5)  Assist with coordinating media for hospital events and assist with some media interviews

6)  Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of promotional items

7)  Assists with Auxiliary Volunteer Program and Chaplaincy Program

8)  Assist with physician relations activities

9)  Works with Corporate Marketing team on hospital social media accounts

10) Works with Corporate Marketing team and Director of Marketing on media requests

11)  Other duties as assigned or required
