Job description
Position Summary: Reporting to the Mobile Fleet Regional Manager, the Mobile Fleet Manager will work closely with the Equipment Planners, Regional Operations Teams, Production Managers, and Plant Managers to manage all aspects of planned and unplanned mobile equipment work. This will include but is not limited to the coordination and execution of equipment preventive maintenance, scheduled, and unscheduled repairs. Equipment maintenance and repair work will be completed using company technicians, equipment dealerships, OEMs, and other various equipment maintenance contractors and will be done in accordance with Martin Marietta standards and documented with the company’s ERP system. This position will work closely with the divisional Operation Excellence team to drive OpEx initiatives, manage capital plans and assist all maintenance planning activities with available planning personnel. Position Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with Plant Managers and Planners, this role ensures the on-time performance of equipment preventive maintenance standards and repairs.
- Ensures all equipment deficiencies and repair documentation is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with Martin Marietta standards and regulatory guidance.
- Assists equipment management in driving compliance within Martin Marietta’s equipment management standards.
- Participates in in on-site operational, maintenance, and equipment audits and inspections.
- Reviews Proformas and invoices to ensure accuracy, necessity and cost.
- Works with Purchasing, Finance, and AP to ensure equipment costs are driven back to work orders.
- Assists plant, production, and equipment management with large project management documentation, scheduling, and procurement support.
- Using third-party systems support e.g. oil sampling, Fuel Master, telemetry, online OEM parts/service support etc. Provides plant, production, and equipment management cloud-based production/maintenance management services.
- Manages all regulatory compliance documentation and provides regulatory reporting as scheduled.
Aides in development of planning and utilization of software packages and production offerings from OEMs and vendors with plant, production, and operational management of available systems e.g. Samsara, VisionLink. Labcheck etc. - Assists Regional Equipment Manager in the development and management of a comprehensive contamination control program to include lube/fuel recommendations, guidelines, sampling and oversight of fuel/lube delivery and ISO cleanliness standards to Plant/Production management according to Martin Marietta standards and requirements.

- Collaborate and participate with other departments and teams.
- Must have extensive mobile maintenance background with a vast understanding of maintenance requirements and the amount of work it takes to complete tasks related to maintaining the equipment.
- Travel extensively overnight
- High school diploma or equivalent and two years of vocational training.
- Employee must have sufficient education to read and write, perform simple mathematics, and maintain neat and accurate records.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Three to five years of equipment support experience documenting operations and maintenance activities for large mobile and/or fixed equipment fleets.
- Proficient, or capable of becoming proficient with JD Edwards/CORE computerized maintenance management and documentation systems.
- Proven skills in providing training to diverse groups of CMMS and documentation operators.
- Proficient in Excel, Tableau, Word, and PowerPoint software systems
- Intermediate knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance principles and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of mining and processing equipment operations and maintenance.
- Proven knowledge of equipment repair coordination, managing resources, and project management
- Excellent time management as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
