Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Project Accountant looking to make the transition to an
Accounting Manager. As an Accounting Manager in the real estate industry, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per year (DOE) and provides the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities: Financial Management: - Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Oversee construction project costs, focusing on treasury management, tax implications, and fixed asset implications.
Process Improvement: - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Streamline accounting procedures and internal controls to mitigate risks.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in Yardi a plus!
