Reputable San Francisco boutique law firm seeks an experienced Complex Litigation Attorney to join its busy practice. The firm is dedicated to strategic, cutting-edge representation of clients in California, nationally, and internationally. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and handling complex litigation cases, providing strategic legal counsel, and ensuring successful outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage complex litigation cases involving multifaceted legal issues and intricate facts, from initiation through resolution.
- Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies to address the complexities of each case, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on intricate legal issues, statutes, and precedents relevant to complex litigation matters.
- Draft and review complex legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and other legal proceedings, presenting compelling arguments and examining witnesses.
- Collaborate with external experts, consultants, and co-counsels to build solid legal cases and enhance expertise in complex litigation areas.
- Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on case developments and legal strategies and addressing inquiries.
- Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel, striving for favorable client outcomes when appropriate.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to complex litigation areas, ensuring compliance and adapting legal strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in California.
- Two (2) – four (4) years of experience working with complex litigation, copyright, IP, trade secrets, and anti-trust litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigation cases, from pre-litigation through trial.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, particularly in addressing intricate legal issues.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective representation, client communication, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to legal challenges.
- Ability to adapt to evolving laws, case dynamics, and client needs.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
S alary :
$150,000 - $185,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications
