Job description
What does an Assembler do?
- Assemblers work in production factories and assembly lines and may have a specialized role in the manufacturing and assembly of an item such as installing fasteners or connecting wires.
- They maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations, allowing them to safely operate heavy machinery and use resources appropriately.
- Assemblers aim to be as efficient and consistent as possible when putting together a product.
- They troubleshoot problems with their equipment and service it to ensure it works properly.

Pay Rates: $16.00 $19.00- DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND ASSESSMENT RESULT.
Shifts:
- 1ST SHIFT: 6 AM-2:30 PM.
- 2ND SHIFT: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
- Monday - Friday. WITH OCCASIONAL OVERTIME ON SATURDAYS.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to assemble entire products or components.
- Rotate through tasks for specific production processes.
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
- Prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Review drawing and instructions before each project.
- Assemble each product according to specifications.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet quality standards.
- Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly.
- Complete required quality and production forms.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary products in your workstation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all quality and safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.
- Reading and Understanding Schematics: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics detailing cable harness layouts, connections, and wiring diagrams.
- Wire Preparation: Proficiency in stripping, cutting, and labeling wires to the required specifications for the cable harness assembly.
- Crimping and Terminating: Skill in crimping terminals onto wires and cables using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring secure connections.
- Soldering: Experience in soldering wires, terminals, and connectors to create strong and reliable electrical connections, adhering to soldering standards for quality and durability.
- Connector Assembly: Knowledge of assembling various types of connectors, including D-sub, circular, and modular connectors, and ensuring proper alignment and attachment.
- Routing and Lacing: Ability to route wires and cables neatly and efficiently within the harness assembly, using lacing, cable ties, or other securing methods to maintain organization and prevent tangling.
