What We Offer:
- $4,000 sign on bonus after 6 months of employment
- Base Salary: $40,000 + Monthly incentives of stock product sales & Bonuses
- Base salary vs. commission – greater amount will be paid out
- $4,000 bonus after 18 months of employment
- Earning potential of $100K/annually
- Full Time: 40+ hrs./5-day work week (Monday – Friday: either 9-5 or 10-6 shift, Saturday : 2 per month required)

Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to determine customer’s overall design needs
- Build strong client relationships and follow up on all jobs to ensure customer satisfaction or gain new project leads
- Schedule design appointments to meet with customers in the showroom
- Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services provided
- Occasionally visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product and design advice
- Gather space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, create/present project proposals, schedule installation team, and perform quality control throughout project
- Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and availability
- Support all company initiatives and goals by modeling best practices
- Team up with kitchen & bath designer to assist on remodeling projects
- Manage time between the showroom and prospecting in the community
- Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Interior Design, Account Management, Construction, Estimator, or similar role
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, interior design, architectural design, or a similar field a plus
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Basic computer/social media and math skills a must
- Proper phone etiquette
- Ability to utilize various forms of communication to follow up with vendors & clients
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong personal and professional judgment
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
- Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
- Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented
- Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
- Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
- Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
- Knowledge of Job Runner & Site Draw software a plus (Willing to train)
