Practice and Reinvigorate in the Hidden Jewel of the Northwest.Located in the "Gateway to the Northwest", Our Facility is seeking a BC/BE Trauma Surgeon to join their well-established surgical group based in pristine, beautiful Pocatello, Idaho. With ten multi-specialty surgeons and six advanced practice providers, the department of surgery at the Level II Trauma Our Facility (205-bed) is among the most highly regarded surgical services teams in the region. Our team of board-certified physicians, uses the most advanced technology, including minimally invasive robotic surgical equipment (da Vinci Robot). Our highly trained specialized surgeons are committed to providing excellence in surgical care and they look forward to being a part of your healthcare team.This is a refreshing opportunity to take advantage of the great outdoors in a Rocky Mountains town often referred to as the Hidden Jewel of the Northwest while thriving in your career.Hospital-employed position Inpatient Join a group of 10 Surgeons and 6 Advanced Practitioners and a mix of support staff Dedicated OR Block Time Clinic Schedule: 2-3 days per week Access to the latest technology in the OR DaVincii robotics system 10-15 patient encounters while on call Ten 24 hr. Shifts/Mo Dedicated Trauma Service for patient admits Hospital offers specialty support including Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist Services Call: 1:10 rotation, at-home APP supervisory responsibilities Some resident and/or medical student rotations Excellent work + life balance Potential Medical Directorship Opportunity EMR: Epic Minimum QualificationsABS BC/BE in General Surgery Surgery Fellowship Training in Trauma, Critical Care, and/or Acute Care Experienced and Graduating Trauma Surgeons are encouraged to apply!
