Position: Operations Analyst III

Duties: Utilizes financial management tools and processes including budgeting and internal and external program communication tools and processes to comprehend the financial plan for implementation of the project. Monitors delivery schedules and cost expenditure against forecasts through effective governance. Communicates, articulately and concisely, in a one-to one/stakeholder meeting involving one-two teams. Proactively builds personal network and seeks and provides constructive feedback. Presents data and logic to and influences team, customers, and stakeholders. Articulates results/recommendations in a structured manner using relevant data. Actively listens to others and acknowledges different technical perspectives and connects to the product/technology in development. Utilizes program monitoring and control tools and processes including internal and external program reporting and logging tools and processes to monitor and evaluate the progress of the projects against approved milestones and timelines. Leads cross functional and/or pillar coordination meetings to review schedule progress, health, issues/risks, and key dependencies of the projects. Takes appropriate measures when required to bring program health on track in case of adversity. Utilizes program management techniques, tools, and frameworks; benefits analysis; program planning tools and techniques. Defines goals, deliverables, and schedules for managing small to medium complexity projects in line with the overall strategic objectives. Creates accountability matrix for the project under guidance. Utilizes technology strategy and its linkages to domain; existing and upcoming systems, technologies, and trends; product technical information; domain specific market standards; methodologies and tools, processes, checkpoints. Supports the development of business cases and recommendations for technology vertical. Owns delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others. Supports technology related process updates and changes. Utilizes business organization skills including Organization KPIs and assessment techniques; analyzes business priorities of internal functions/teams. Describes profitability drivers and considerations and desired or actual business results in measurable scales or terms. Performs program estimation by utilizing tools and techniques; risk assessment and mitigation tools and techniques. Assesses and identifies the resources required for successful completion of the project of small to medium complexity. Identifies potential risks for successful completion of the project.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus 2 years of experience in project/program management or a related field.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Developing SQL queries for relational databases (Informix, SQL Server, Oracle) and No SQL databases for troubleshooting data issues; Testing and troubleshooting REST API calls via POSTMAN, Swagger to search, retrieve and modify the data in JSON/XML format; Reviewing the technical code and providing support for .NET, Java Microservices, data power and Kafka application services; Providing analysis on Java/Python source codes for application issues based on exception and work with development team; Monitoring Google Cloud (GCP) ETL pipelines and Microsoft Azure log analytics for troubleshooting issues/errors encountered while loading raw data into Cloud/Data Lake; Building and improving runbooks, playbooks, knowledge articles and standard operating procedures to minimize operational errors and gain efficiency; Splunk and/or Grafana dashboards to analysis the issues and provide resolutions; Incident management, problem management and change Management in ServiceNow and involving in ServiceNow development and providing assistance with major incidents, driving to resolution, leading and developing solutions as part of Problem Management efforts; Determining the impact of new products and tools implementation across the business and mitigates potential issues by ensuring operational issues are considered during planning and implementation; identifying systems or equipment conflicts and compatibility; developing contingency plans; and designing post-implementation documentation, standard operating practices, and training approaches; Approving change tickets for Operations; analyzing daily and weekly incident data; identifying and communicating incident trends; reviewing and documenting associate quality trends; developing recommendations improvement, training, and mitigation plans for trending issues; creating and maintaining training plans; managing area specific training implementation; and ensuring that all safeguards have been taken by the requesting team; Debugging application scripts (Python, Bash/Shell, Java) running on Linux servers for exceptions and based on stack trace identify if it’s a defect in the script, issue with front end components, errors in dependent scripts or a database issue; Reducing the impact of application and infrastructure failures on business delivery by analyzing the impact of disruptions; determining tasks to be performed; instituting disaster recovery procedures; and escalating appropriately.
