Job description
As an Analyst, you will be the primary point person responsible for Franchise, Category and Shopper Data within Disney Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing Business Analytics and Insights.
You will report to the Manager, Business Analytics & Insights.
This is a Full-Time role.
Responsibilities/You will:
Reporting Standardized
Own existing weekly and monthly standardized franchise/category reports
Master multiple databases and platforms
Collaborate with a wide cross-functional team - including Sales, Retail Marketing, Commercialization, and retail brand development to help make informed decision for the business.
Database Maintenance
Looked upon as the subject matter expert on existing product hierarchies, working with vendors and company partners to align hierarchies together
Partner with IT and Retail teams to maintain, clean, and attribute and code data on weekly basis, ensuring databases are accurate, complete and usable
Works in alignment with cross-functional teams to synchronize objectives and requisites for the development of fresh processes and tools.
Analytics
Provide custom analysis which may require tight turnaround times
Identify incremental growth opportunities from a franchise, category, distribution or audience perspective
Captures and assesses intricate datasets, then organizes findings for reports, meetings, and more.
Basic Qualifications/You will have:
1 year of professional experience in data analytics, forecasting and/or planning
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables
Working knowledge of using data to deliver compelling story-telling
Preferred Qualifications:
It would be great if you also have:
Familiarity with syndicated databases and providers
Experience in a consumer products, retail or entertainment company
Great teammate with proficient interpersonal skills
Experience with data visualization/BI tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI) and syndicated third-party data sources
Education:
BA/BS college degree in relevant area: Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred

The hiring range for this position in location is $69,946 to $93,830 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job tags
