Job description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school education or equivalent experience
- Above average computer skills
- Typing - 30 to 40 WPM
- 10 key - 9000 KPH preferred / 30 WPM
- Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports directly to the Administrative Support Team Leader
- Opening, sorting, and distributing departmental mail daily
- Scanning and converting documents from mail, BWC or other sources into the system daily and ensuring appropriate date stamps and indexing
- Accurately prepping (indexing) document in the imaging system for distribution to appropriate staff members
- Timely completion of documents
- Organized, attentive to detail, dependable, resourceful
- Able to make timely and accurate decisions, strong ability to multi- task
- Ability to meet and maintain quality, production, and other performance requirements
- Printing various letters and reports to be distributed to clients, injured workers, attorneys, Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and other parties daily
- Fulfills request for medical documentation
- Fills employer supply requests
- Processes Change of Physician (C-23) forms within timeframe set by the Ohio BWC
- Assists in meeting or exceeding Sheakley and BWC goals and measurements
- Other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Supervisor or Management
- Assists with other departments as needed to facilitate the MCO's workflow

- Ability lift files, reach and carry up to 25 pounds
