Job description
RWJBH is seeking a Bed Board Controller for our Logistics Department at the New Brunswick campus.
This is a part-time, day position 16 hours/week.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Assign rooms to patients by checking physician service and diagnosis.
Works closely with all floors throughout hospital to ensure patient flow.
Proficiency in Registration and Census and Bed Management.
Demonstrates precise documentation: Asks questions, records required information.
Communication skills; must practice culture of kindness, maintain a positive rapport and cooperative working relationship with all patients, guests, physicians, physicians offices and fellow RWJBH employees.
Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnoses.
Computer proficiency.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
