Job description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a prestigious Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in one of the most Beautiful Locations in Southern California. This role offers the chance to provide expert care to critically ill newborns in a pediatric regional referral center while collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in a 22-bed NICU
- Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Specialists across multiple departments
- Contribute to comprehensive care plans for NICU patients
- Serve as an educator and resource for nursing staff, patients, and families
- Maintain expertise in NICU nursing practices and procedures
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in nursing (MSN)
- Possess a valid RN license in the State of California
- Have a minimum of three years of NICU nursing experience
- Hold Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Maintain National Certification in NICU nursing
- Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
