As an Ultrasound Team Leader, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess. Job Overview:
As an Ultrasound Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the Ultrasound Department and performing routine and specific specialized diagnostic sonography procedures. In addition to meeting the basic standards of a RDMS, the Team Leader is expected to be a role model and exceed performance standards. Other job duties include, but are not limited to:
- The Team Leader gives direct care and oversees the care given by other personnel on the unit
- Coordinates orientation of staff members, participates in evaluating their performance, and provides continuing education.
- Assists the Manager in planning and managing the resources necessary for the delivery of patient care in the specified area.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education:
- Degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Must be RVT and/or RVS and RDMS registry eligible
- Five years of experience as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Registered with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Current BLS CPR certification
