Maintenance Technicians at Peninsula Truck Lines are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and making repairs to our fleet of tractors, trailers and off-road equipment to ensure the safety of our drivers and others as they travel the roads of the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, experienced technicians will be active in the development and training of younger technicians who are in the process of developing their skillsets. The environment is family orientated and fast-paced.

Requirements:

• 3 years minimum experience as a diesel mechanic actively working on on-highway equipment.
• Cummins, CAT engine experience a plus
• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
• Basic knowledge of vehicle after-treatment systems
• Basic knowledge of both air and hydraulic braking systems
• T series ASE certifications preferred
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to obtain a CDL
