About this position:
We are looking to hire a Senior level DevSecOps Engineer . In this role you will deploy applications in on-prem, OCI, and AWS environments, maintain the Cloud DevSecOps pipeline, troubleshoot deployments, automate tasks, ensure policy compliance, monitor database performance, and offer data-related technical expertise . Salary Range: 145k-160k- commensurate with candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Operate and maintain applications, DevSecOps pipeline in on-premises, OCI, and AWS environments.
- Support application deployment across different cloud platforms.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous service availability.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve them promptly.
- Automate tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
- Update documentation (e.g., SOPs/TTPs, policies, etc.) to ensure compliance with the organization's policies and requirements.
- Identify and recommend appropriate changes to DevSecOps infrastructure to improve performance, reliability, and availability.
- Develop and automate routine tasks via scripting/coding and automation tools.
- Monitor ServiceNow ticket queue and triage intake with team members.
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
- Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
- Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
- Determine , enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations.
- Provide technical expertise related to data management.
- Successfully multi-task, work collaboratively as well as independently.
Required Education/Qualifications:
- Security+ certification.
- Clearance: MUST be fully adjudicated & maintain a Top-Secret security clearance or higher.
- Associate/bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience , with 5 years of relevant DevSecOps experience.
- Working knowledge with Ansible, Terraform , Kubernetes, Jenkins, SonarQube and Nexus/Maven , indicating proficiency in modern application deployment methods.
- Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) 7+ and WebLogic Server, showcasing expertise in managing and administering these technologies.
- Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills with good problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with and supporting Agile development team and DevSecOps environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (OCI Certified, AWS Certified) to demonstrate expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Amazon Web Services.
- Previous experience working with DoD systems, showcasing familiarity with defense-related projects and security requirements.
- Experience working with and supporting Agile development teams and DevSecOps environments, showcasing adaptability and collaboration in fast-paced development setups.
