Job description
We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Scripting Expert to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of game development, Unreal Engine, and a strong proficiency in scripting and programming.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, debug, and optimize game scripts using Unreal Engine's Blueprint visual scripting system and C++
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement gameplay mechanics, features, AI behaviors, and interactive systems
- Create reusable scripts and systems that can be leveraged across different game projects
- Test and refine scripts based on feedback and playtest results
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and best practices in Unreal Engine and game scripting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
- Significant experience in game development, with a focus on scripting in Unreal Engine
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine's Blueprint system and C++ programming
- Experience with game physics, animations, AI, and gameplay systems
- Strong understanding of game development principles and 3D computer graphics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A portfolio demonstrating your scripting and game development work in Unreal Engine
