Role Overview: As a Student Accounts Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in managing student accounts, handling billing inquiries, and collaborating with various campus departments impacting financial matters. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, processing refunds, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Addressing billing inquiries from students and parents, guiding them on payment options within established policies.
• Handling student account emails promptly and efficiently.
• Processing various refunds while adhering to federal regulations.
• Managing cashier sessions and preparing necessary financial documents.
• Contributing to special projects, audit preparation, and system improvements.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in bookkeeping/accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and ten-key skills.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and cashiering.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
