Job description

Summary

Bunny Village is currently hiring for part-time afternoon teaching positions. Candidates must have, or be willing to obtain, current CPR, First Aid, EPI Pen and Medicine Administration Certificates. A background in early childhood development and/or education (or qualifying Child Development Associates) is preferred, but for the right candidate not required!

Job Types: Part-time

Schedule:

• Available shifts for afternoon are 12pm - 6pm or 3pm - 6pm
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cheshire, CT 06410: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Duties

Some of the responsibilities associated with this position are as follows:
- nurturing and caregiving of
children and infants
- organizing
- cleaning
- meal preparation
- lesson planning
- engaging with families
- implementing educational
curriculum
- arts and crafts
- music and movement

Requirements

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

Certifications:

• CPR/First Aid
• Medication Administration / Epi-pen training
