Pet Groomer Full or Part-time
We are seeking a full or part-time Pet Groomer at our busy salon in Sun City West to join our talented team! We handle all appointment scheduling for you so you can concentrate on what you do best: Grooming. If you're looking for flexible hours/days Pampered Paws West Grooming is just for you. We are a high-volume salon with an easy-going group of groomers and a very healthy client list. No pressure, stress-free with lots of room to groom. Very friendly co-workers who are always willing to help each other out. We would like our groomers with 1 year experience with a great personality to interact with our wonderful customers. 50% commission plus strong tips for a job well done.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with pet owners to discuss their grooming preferences and address any concerns they may have about their pets
- Perform scissor cuts and shaving services on pets
- Bathe and groom pets
- Recognize potential skin issues or health problems such as parasites, rashes, and wounds
- Monitor pets for any physical or behavioral changes and promptly inform the owners
- Provide recommendations to pet owners after grooming sessions regarding grooming frequency and any issues encountered during the grooming process
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of grooming experience
- Valid US work authorization
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Proficient in basic grooming techniques, including scissor cuts
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards when working with animals
